The MCBA’s Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) is a non-profit program designed to assist members of the public in obtaining appropriate and affordable legal services. The LRS maintains a listing of MCBA member attorneys available to represent new clients in diverse subject areas, including personal injury, criminal, divorce, child custody, probate, adoption, employment, wills and trusts, contracts and real estate. LRS callers are provided with the names of 3 appropriate attorney referrals to contact. Each attorney establishes his /her own rates and callers are encouraged to discuss the proposed fee arrangement at the outset.

The MCBA has recruited many top level attorneys, some with well over 25 years experience, to participate in the LRS program.
